Auditors
Audits the books at year-end.
Block Kids
Develops local program for the chapter to host, based on National guidelines.
By-Laws
Reviews chapter standing rules for compliance.
Construction Industry
Promotes chapter participation in sponsoring activities that directly benefit the construction industry.
Historian
Keeps Chapter scrapbook with mementos and documentation of activiites. Photograph events.
Hospitality
Greets and makes new members/visitors welcome.
Industry/Association Liaison Sub-Committee
Fosters cooperation between NAWIC and other construction associations and construction-conscious industry programs.
Membership
Promotes ideas for expanding the Chapter's membership. Contacts prospective members, prepares literature for prospective members, and installs new members.
Professional Education
Develops programs and projects that are directed toward professionalism, self-improvement and construction. Oversees the locations and menus for the meetings. Stays in contact with the members running the meeting to confirm speakers, etc.
Property
Orders all supplies and materials from NAWIC as requested by members and approved by the board. Carries the podium to all meetings.
Publicity/Public Relations
Contacts newspapers, internet, tv, radio regarding meetings and other activities.
Safety
Provides members with an awareness of safety/health issues pertaining to the construction industry. Provides safety/health resources to assist members and their companies with safety/health issues and maintain relationships with other industry organizations, and federal government whom are concerned with safety/health issues.
Scholarship
Processes scholarship applications and selects scholarship nominees for presentation to the Board.
Tradeswomen
Chooses "Tradewomen of the Year".
Ways/Means
Arranges activities that will raise money for the Chapter.
